Everything you need to know before your visit.
If you're unsure which treatment would suit you, send me a message about what you're looking for and I'll help you choose. You don't need to know the names of the techniques before you come.
60 minutes allows full-body work or focused attention on the areas that matter most; we'll agree your priorities. 90 minutes is an unhurried extended option for full-body work with more time on particular areas of tension. 120 minutes is available if you prefer a longer session. Pressure, pace and techniques are adapted throughout, whatever duration you choose.
When you arrive, let me know if you have any problem areas or would like a particular type of massage. We'll discuss what you're looking for and the pressure you prefer.
For an oil-based body massage, I'll then leave the room so you can get undressed in private, lie face down on the massage couch and cover yourself with the towel provided. I'll return when you're ready, and you can ask me to adjust the pressure at any time.
For traditional Thai and other clothed treatments, you'll keep your clothes on.
For dry treatments (Thai massage, Indian Head Massage), wear comfortable, loose clothing. For oil-based treatments you will undress — to your underwear, or fully if you prefer — and will be covered by a towel throughout, with only the area being worked on exposed at any time. Please wear underwear you don't mind getting a small amount of oil on, as some contact is unavoidable during the treatment.
Yes — firm, deep pressure is a speciality, and I adapt it to your comfort. Pressure changes within your chosen treatment are normal: you can ask me to ease off or use firmer pressure at any time. If you'd like to switch to a different treatment with a different price, I'll explain the options and agree any price difference with you before we switch.
Thai massage involves firm pressure and assisted stretching, which can feel intense — particularly on areas carrying tension. It should never be painful, though. I work within your comfort level throughout and encourage you to speak up at any point if you'd like me to ease off. Most clients find the intensity deeply satisfying rather than uncomfortable.
Appointments are by booking only. The online booking system requires at least 24 hours' notice. For same-day availability, contact me via WhatsApp or SMS on 07926 760353.
Please try to arrive at the time you booked. Park in front of the green front door, then go to the separate entrance on the driveway to the right of the house and ring the doorbell when you're ready.
Free roadside parking is available outside the house. If you can't park right outside, please don't park in front of the neighbours' houses. You can park on the road coming into Perivale or on Queensbury Lane, both just a short walk away.
Everyday muscular aches, tension and post-exercise soreness are common reasons to book a massage. Please tell me about any injuries or health conditions before your treatment so I can adapt it appropriately.
If you have recently injured yourself—for example, twisted an ankle or pulled a muscle—avoid massage over the injured area during the first few days. If you have new or unexplained sharp pain, or an injury that is not improving, get advice from your GP or a qualified physiotherapist before having the affected area massaged.
For severe or worsening pain, significant swelling or bruising, or difficulty walking or bearing weight, seek urgent advice from NHS 111 rather than booking a massage.
Massage can complement appropriate medical care, but it does not replace diagnosis or treatment.
My massage couch is rated to 250kg, and the firm pressure I use adds considerable force on top of the client's own weight. For safety I'm therefore unable to treat clients over 200kg (around 31.5 stone). If you're close to that, please message me before booking.
